Credit is still affordable.

Credit Cards

Due to the credit crisis it has been difficult for consumers to get credit from banks and lenders due to the overwhelming fact that credit is now seen as a liability to many of them. However, as a consumer, you should know that there are plenty of places to still get credit and that is available and affordable if and when you need it. After all, if credit card companies are still willing to sit in the Student Unions of college campuses across the country, everyone should be able to find some kind of credit.

Regardless of what you may hear on the news, credit card offers are still pouring into mailboxes. On a nearly daily basis some kind of credit card offer comes through my mail. While you may no longer be able to get the best credit cards at the most wonderful rates, there are still plenty of rates that are affordable out there.

If you’re unsure about which or what credit card to try to obtain, J.D. Power rankings has credit card ratings from its tests.

Right now, it is still fairly common to find credit cards that have zero percent financing for the first year. However, when the new laws go into effect next year, this offer may become a bit less common for people with average credit or those with limited credit histories.
