DirecTV programming

Football season is just around the corner, as well as the new TV season and it’s really time for everyone to start thinking about setting up those DVRs to get ready so they don’t miss one Patriots, Giants, or Packers game :) If you have a direct tv package, you will get more NFL games than you could ever want with if you add a package like NFL Sunday Ticket, but I am a bit more partial to college football and my Ole Miss Rebels.

DirecTv channels really do have a lot to offer for anyone who loves TV or is just looking for something different.

I really do enjoy Fall TV programming, particularly November sweeps time. I like when the shows don’t hold anything back and you want to go, “wait, what?” after a show goes off.

As a journalism student, I also enjoyed learning about tv history. The history of television is so interesting when you really start getting into it and knowing the past can help you discover the future.

If you don’t have cable or want to get the NFL programming, look for some Direct TV specials across the internet. Direct TV isn’t the cheapest satellite network out there, but I have always found it to be the most reliable and the menus to be a bit more user friendly.
