Everything and the kitchen sink

The other day I was looking at my sink and noticing that in the future, we might just need a new kitchen sink. It isn’t everyday that you think about these things, but when you’re in need of a new sink you really start paying attention to the costs and differences between them.

One company on the internet: Mr. Direct Sinks and Faucets offers two main types of sinks. Both are under mounted and one is your average stainless steel sink while the other is granite. While stainless steel is the norm for most people looking at, the other is an environmentally friendly granite sink made out of Quartzite and Acrylic.

Of course, an undermount granite sink is going to be more expensive, but the site offers prices that are much lower than places like the Home Depot.

Some things to look for when picking a sink include price (obviously) and the look and style you want. That means, make sure that it won’t scratch and (if it is a granite type of sink) it has an antimicrobial feature.
