Tonight I saw the first commercial for tax services from H&R Block. I know they really can’t waste any time in getting ready for tax season, but really?

The commercial showed a woman about to break into her employer’s office to obtain her W-2 so she could get an advance on her tax return…a man she knows stops her to tell her that H&R block can give her advance.

Is it tax time already? I suppose that this will be the first year Chris and I will get to file our first joint return this year. I wasn’t even worried about taxes until today when I saw the commercial.
