JetBlue is offering $599 all you can travel

September must be a pretty slow month for airlines, or JetBlue might be looking to bring out the frugal people. The reason I say this is because JetBlue just began offering a $599 plus taxes “all you can jet” fare for September 8th through October 8th.
This seems like a good deal if you live close to an airport that JetBlue flies into and are able to travel a lot during a month. If you were a student taking off for the semester this would be a great deal. You could fly everywhere you wanted to for just over $600.
According to the terms of the offer, someone who purchases this pass can fly to any of JetBlue’s 56 destinations with no seat limitations or black out dates.
The only problem with this is that JetBlue has already slashed fares to around $100 one way, so many travelers would have to take 3 round trips or 6 to 7 one way trips to break even and many people simply aren’t able to travel that often during the course of a one month period. This would be a much better deal if it were to take place over the course of two months.
When you buy the ticket, it includes all fees and taxes unless you book within 3 days of departure, then taxes and fees total around $100.
Airline equities analyst Bob McAdoo said, “This is a way to get people to pay attention, with publicity that doesn’t cost the company much. They’re doing this at a time when there are probably a lot of seats available anyway.”

Like you said, when you actually break down the price, all you can fly does not sound too attractive compared to the individual flight. I looked at it myself, but realistically, it will be very hard to break even for an average guy with a full time job

I could only see really hardcore road warriors using the service. However, it is hard to break even. I only know of a few people that fly more than 10 times a month, and most of them use a corporate jet.

I am always looking for the best vacation deals, when I travel. The flights are usually what is the most expensive part of your vacation.

I agree with Hiro, once you break down the price it doesn’t sound like a very great deal unless you plan on just traveling a lot during that month. I can definitely see someone that has a lot of vacation time added up or that doesn’t necessarily have a job and has the time and money to travel taking advantage of this offer. Just travel to one of their locations stay 3-4 days and then move on. I think that sounds really fun if I was able to take the time off right now.
