No more DHL shipping inside the United States

DHL has announced they will cut 9,500 jobs and stop shipping within the United States by the end of January 2009.

DHL and DHL express will continue delivery operations outside the United States. The decrease in operations also means they will begin closing hubs. They will reduce the amount of hubs from 412 to just over 100.

This leaves your shipping options within the US to Fed Ex, UPS, and USPS.

I always liked DHL…When UPS would deliver boxes beaten and squished like an accordion, DHL would be careful and the packages were never damaged. I wonder how Dell will ship?
