Pepsi plans to introduce 3 new “sugar” sodas

Jennifer McClelland | RSS | 1 Comment

When I say “sugar” I actually mean sugar, not high fructose corn syrup. The new sodas called “Pepsi Natural” and they are sweetened with natural sugar.

The other two sodas are Pepsi and Mountain Dew “throwback” which are also sweetened with sugar. The difference between Pepsi Natural and Pepsi Throwback is Pepsi natural has natural caramel and kona nut extract, while Pepsi Throwback has all the regular ingredients but with sugar instead of HFCS. Pepsi Natural will also be sold in glass containers.

All three drinks are set to launch between this month and next month. Pepsi and Mountain Dew throwback are set to only be around for two or three months, but there is no word on how long Pepsi Natural will be around.

  1. Natural sugar is a big no. Too many calories. I will die early than live fat.
