My advice is to have as many credentials as possible in their resume. For example, job related positions that they had at school, summer work (try to get a summer job related to your career), certifications such as project manager certification, Microsoft certifications etc. College students should never present themselves as rookies. Plus, I think larger companies are much more prepared for economic downfalls than the companies here. I'm glad the entire world isn't going as crazy as America is right now. I'm gonna graduate this year, by July. Some of my friends already graduated earlier. Luckily, in my country Indonesia, the unemployment issues caused by global recession isn't that bad.
