Send Bernard Madoff’s wife, sons and brother to jail too

Today Bernard Madoff pled guilty to all the charges brought against him. The judge revoked his bail and he’ll sit in jail while he waits to be sentenced, which could be up to 150 years.

Here’s my problem with the whole situation, I believe that his wife of 50 years had something to do with the whole scam, or at least had “some” knowledge about what was going on. And you’d be hard pressed to find someone who thought otherwise.

Well, the whole time Madoff was in talks about pleading guilty, he was trying to protect his wife, sons, and brother from being charged with any fraud. Well, I think if they knew about the fraud they are just as guilty. How could they have not known about the scam? I know that a lot (if not all) of the victims of the fraud are angry that there haven’t been any charges filed against the family of Bernard Madoff and while they are stuck without their life savings, Madoff’s wife is still living it up in a Manhattan penthouse.
