I am an Ole Miss student and am a card carrying Rebel. That is why today was great.

“We” beat Texas Tech in the Cotton Bowl. 47-34. This marks the first time the team has been to a bowl game since the 2003 season and Eli Manning was the quarterback. Since then we’ve gone through two coaches and 5 losing seasons.

I was genuinely suprised, as was “94%” of everyone (or so I read on a sign). However, toward the end of the game it really seemed like the Texas Tech players REALLY believed the hype. A lot of them were really mad, particularly #76…whose mouth could easily be read.

That was my sports break. Oh, Hotty Toddy!
