<p>On the Consumerist some of the comments indicated that there was a Limp Bizkit song that was available for the $.69 cost. Of course, the comments were followed by snarky remarks about how that&#8217;s $.69 too much.</p>
<p>Apple did promise that there would be more songs at 69 cents than at $1.29. There were several tracks that are decades old in the new 30% higher tier.</p>
<blockquote><p>Do you want to download Heart&#8217;s 34-year old Barracuda? That will now cost you $1.29. Of course, to some Baby Boomers that song serves as a mini national anthem to the 1970&#8242;s so it may not be the best example. Maybe, I should look at not just at older music, but music that is less popular too.</p></blockquote>
