Watches as gifts

When would you give a gift to someone that you love? I once gave a watch to my husband for no occasion at all. Chris is fairly particular about his accessories, clothing, and shoes so when he finds something that he really enjoys its important that I take note of it or get it. Chris constantly wears a watch also so it’s something that if he found one he really liked it would be important to get him.

I could get Chris a nice, expensive watch from BlueDial, but I would really want to just get him whatever he wanted rather than what I thought he would like. The main reason is because we really have differing opinions as to what is fashionable. Thankfully we both agree on the silver/white gold look as opposed to yellow gold.

I really don’t like being forced into buying watches though. When I was looking at getting him a new wedding band for our anniversary, we walked into a jewelry store to look at rings and the salesman kept trying to get us to look at watches, even though Chris told him repeatedly that he was happy with his watch and needed a new wedding band.
