Would you eat bioengineered food, if you knew?

In China, scientists are engineering rice to grow in colder temperatures, higher altitudes, and drier soil.   Because of the population growth in the region, they need to find new ways to produce copious amounts of rice to feed them.

Food demand is forecasted to rise by 50% by 2030, so the bioengineered food is likely to catch on, but the question is; if the information was released to you at the time of purchase, would you buy it?
